Marriage Care

In marriage, two people commit to love and serve each other for a lifetime. However, there are more than just two people’s lives at stake in a marriage relationship. There are MANY people who depend on our marriages to be the very best they can be. Our children, our parents, our siblings and their children, neighbors, co-workers, and our entire community are depending on us to have the strongest marriages we can build.

The purpose of Marriage Care is to give couples a way to maintain and grow healthy strong marriages.

Marriage Care is NOT…

  • counseling.
  • a substitute for couples who could benefit from counseling.
  • an in-depth training or seminar.
  • a mere social group.

Marriage Care IS…

  • for couples who want to build their strengths and develop a healthy and lasting marriage.
  • a small group experience for couples of all ages and stages of life to develop enduring and authentic friendships with other couples.
  • couples meeting regularly to encourage and support the growth and strengthening of each others’ marriages.

The Format

Couples will meet once or twice a month with one or two other couples to complete communication exercises on a wide variety of topics which affect marriage.  The setting is very informal and loosely structured.  Once each group is formed that group can adjust the meeting, format, exercises, or anything else to whatever seems most beneficial for the group.
