Pollinator Garden

Caring for God's Creation

Pollinator garden work team

St. Peter’s Pollinator Garden is a joint project with Polk County Conservation and provides a 200+ square foot native pollinator habitat planting at the church for monarchs and native bees. Planting took place in May 2016. We look forward to the continued stewardship of God’s Creation as we tend to this important population! Children learned about the importance of pollinator gardens as a Compassion Sunday Project and painted rocks to decorate the garden. Members of the youth group and adults helped plant the garden and continue to work to tend it.
